LOUIS VUITTON

Project:

[Live Brief] Create a design for the 2007 Louis Vuitton Chirstmas Window.

Outcome:

[Eclipse Concept] For this particular brief, I worked in a group with Victoria Tang and Nick Prasatsak. Our proposal for the Louis Vuitton Christmas Window was based around the idea of an eclipse. We wanted the window to mimic a magical moment in time that people passing by would be able to appreciate, and almost be drawn to.

During the day, the window would almost be entirely lit by natural lighting, so the focus would be on the details of our sun–like structure. In the evening, it would take on a whole different mood. The dramatic/ glowing lighting would come from within the shape like an eclipse, creating a silhouette of the product in the centre.
