ROAD SAFETY

Project:

Design a road safety poster appropriate for the side panel of a bus shelter. Pick one rule from the highway–code and find a way to best re–enforce it.

Outcome:

For this project, I chose to approach the penalties associated with drink driving. I aimed to create a situation mimicking the physical state of drunkenness a person might experience whilst driving.

The idea of blurry text was eventually achieved by photographing a stencil through which light was shone. The stark light beams along with the addition of headlights is suggestive towards a possible head–on car collision.
