TYPO POSTER

Project:

To work with the formal qualities of typeforms without reliance on ‘an idea’. This is an exercise in appearances for appearances’ sake. Produce six A3 designs, one for each of quotations provided, keeping all type horizontal and using only one text box.

Outcome:

The six posters were split into two groupings.Three of the posters focus on surrounding space/simplicity/fine type and look at how the lines can be broken according to the flow of the quote. The other three posters focus on colour/boldness/enlarged type details and attempt to fill the entire page.

All the posters were silkscreened and share a sense of playfulness towards the ways in which they are read.
